1.1
Background
As
far as we know, Indonesia is famous as richest of wildlife and cultural in the
world. Wildlife in Indonesia really awsome and beautiful which make foreigners
mesmerized with natural capital and beautiful place. Another side, in Indonesia
there are so many culture , various mores , beautiful place and some kind of food.
Furthermore, Indonesia have many things having to do with art which as
Indonesia we have to keep and preserve
our wildlife, culture and etc. And then,
we have to develop our wildlife and cultural in the world. Because Indonesia have many natural capital.
Dont make them weak with globalization.
The
reason i choose this this culture because i want give and introduce to all of people in the world
about South Sulawesi which many rich about graciously beach and beautiful
place. In this paper, here I will introduce and explain about South Sulawesi
culture where South Sulawesi is my hometown. South Sulawesi is one of city
which have culture, beautiful beach, and mores. Makassar is capital of South
Sulawesi. In this province, there are so many various tour, such as : beach,
maritime . in there, generally language is used makassar and bugis .it just my
information which i get information from some article in internet.

Problem Formulation
Based
on the backgroud of the study, the problem of the study can be formulated as
follow :

There are
so many people do not conscious with natural wealth and how to solve this
problem for people can conscious about our natural wealth.
1.3 Limitation of the Problem
The
writer limit the problem study of culture South Sulawesi.
1.4 Aim of this paper
The
aim of this paper :

To
explain about culture at South Sulawesi like art, food and local costum.
·
To
introduce to all of people in the world about natural wealty at South Sulawesi
2.1 Definition of traditional house at
South Sulawesi
Bugis of South
Sulawesi custom home has something unique in
his building their house. Custom home
in Bugis tribe
called as bola
Soba (Bugis Bone),
or known by the stage house, Tongkonang (Tana Toraja)
and Balla Lompoa
(Gowa Makassar).
Based on the article that I got a traditional house has
significance in the making. Stage house which
home of South Sulawesi traditional rectangular shaped elongated to
backward. Shape of the building is made out of pairs that can be moved from one
place to another place. Worldview of the term "sulapa eppa" that has meaning
square which have meaning that view of
the world that aims to find an ideal perfection in recognizing and overcoming human
frailty (Elizabeth Morrell, 2005: 240).
Karampuang ancient
house follow costum house of Bugis Makassar models. From the
uniqueness of this house include : Wooden poles
Bitti, the pegs are not nailed to the mast, made of bamboo flooring that is only tied with rattan on the pegs, as well as
under the stairs below the house the center, so that the door is opened from
below, and the kitchen was in the front after the doors opened.
2.2 Traditional
dances at South Sulawesi.
Sulawesi has
its own unique dance which is displayed at various events such as weddings,
circumcision rituals and local customs. The dance is a dance traditioanal
Pakarena we must preserve. This dance is to be accompanied by two drum heads
and a pair of sort of flute music. This dance is very energetic, the music
being played, but accompanied by a very slow dance of the dancers graceful
young woman.
The dance is
divided into 12 sections. Each movement has a special meaning. Sitting
position, a sign of the beginning and end of the dance Pakarena. Follow a
circular motion clockwise, shows the human life cycle. While the movement up
and down, the rhythm of life is like a mirror. Rules, a dancer Pakarena not
allowed to open her eyes too wide. Similarly, the movement of the feet, should
not be raised too high. This is true throughout the dance takes place which
takes about two hours. Gantarang Pakarena accompaniment of drum music instrument,
kannong-kannong, gong, buttons and poem poem. While the costumes of the dancers
are, pahang clothes (hand woven), LIPA 'sa'be (typical silk sarong of South

2.3 Tourist area at
South Sulawesi
South Sulawesi is famous for its charming and has a
wonderful attraction. Many
tourists admire the natural
beauty of South Sulawesi. Losari
is one of the famous attractions in the area of Makassar. Many people spend time
off to enjoy the beauty of this place and
enjoy the sunset that
has great beauty.
Beside Losari beach,
there is alsa some wonderful attraction which hhave to visit this place. This
place is Somba Opu. Somba Opu
built in 1525 by the Sultan of Gowa IX. The fort is a trade center and port of
spices visited by traders from Asia and Europe. In 1669, the fort was occupied
by the VOC and then destroyed until submerged by tidal waves. In the 1980s, the
fort was rediscovered by a number of scientists are. And in 1990, the fort was
reconstructed so that it looks better. Now, Somba Opu become a historical
attraction in the city of Makassar in which there are several traditional
houses representing South Sulawesi Bugis, Makassar, Mandar and Toraja. In
addition, there is also a cannon with a length of 9 m and weighs 9500 kg and a

2.5 Culinary of South Sulawesi
1. Coto Makassar : Coto Makassar is one of food which as a typical food makassar that have been known by the public in our
country. This food is made of beef
simmered in a long time and flavored specifically formulated. Coto served in a
bowl and eaten with rice cake and "burasa".
2. Pisang Ijo : Bananas is a dessert dish ijo South Sulawesi. These foods have the flavor is very sweet and conscious when we are enjoying this food. Green bananas are very popular in the community when approaching month of Ramadan.
3. Barongko : Barongko is a typical dessert Bugis-Makassar area are made from the fruit ripe bananas kepok steamed in banana leaves.
4. Pisang Epe : Typical food of South Sulawesi area is made of a banana kepok mengkal, burned and flattened. EPE banana 'served with a sauce of brown sugar water that is usually mixed with the smell of durian or jackfruit can be appetizing.

Conclusion
Indonesia is one of many countries which have many
cultural and wildlife in the world. As an Indonesian, we should proud of our
contry have many cultural and wildlife in the world. Beside that, Indonesia
have uniqueness in our cultural like , culinary, tradional house, dance, etc.
South Sulawesi is one of place have anxiety for tourist for visit this place. And,
beside that South Sulawesi have many beutiful place who make people curious and
gorgeous place , enjoy to spend time for holiday. We have to show beautiful
place and natural wealth to the world. And as an indonesian we have to look
after this place and develop for make this place to be more beautiful than
before.
